Raced away from work early in the hope of catching the forecast Westerly (cross shore) funneling across the incoming spring tide, what I didn't expect was the horredous amount of bucket and spade brigade dominating the fast decreasing beach. I was actually quite lucky to find a parking space which, as anyone who's been to Bigbury, is hard to believe.

It wasn't as windy as expected and slightly cross on but I went for it anyway on the light wind kit. Got some big jumps opposite the river where the waves were forming quite nicely and managed a couple of frontside bottom turns on the way in. It was a quick session as I had to get home to go out for a meal which was a pity as the wind seemed to be filling in as I got off the water.
